Science Teacher - Required URGENTLY

I am working on the behalf of my client Secondary School in Nottingham who are seeking to appoint a very well qualified, highly skilled and highly motivated Science Teacher to work on a long term basis in the school from January 2019 with the opportunity for a permanent position.

The school are an aspirational and inclusive Academy committed to their Respect Values. Through an inspirational curriculum they facilitate great learning, exceptional progress and the development of character. They ensure all pupils achieve their potential and are ready for the next stage in their learning, training or employment.

Their Science Faculty has 12 qualified teachers with a mix of age and experience and their staffing has increased due to the increasing student numbers to which they continually invest in CPD to ensure teaching is good or better. 2018 GCSE results were their best ever - close to national averages. The Science Faculty is housed over 9 laboratories and benefits from 2 technicians. In addition to delivering the science curriculum, the faculty organise a range of extra curricular, raising aspirations and STEM events for students.

The successful candidate will be supported by a very strong senior leadership team and Director of Learning and will work in a school on a journey of improvement where the culture is focused on ensuring every child can become the best that they can be.
