A medium sized secondary school in Barnsley are looking to recruit a Science teacher to start with them in September. The successful Science teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 with a focus on GCSE level in the main. This is a full time position with a timetable made up of primarily Science with a little general cover involved as well at KS3.
The school is ideally looking for an experienced Science teacher who has a proven track record of delivering consistently high results. This position is open due to the existing teacher of Science due to have an operation and take sickness leave for a term and a half at least.
Key aspects of this Science teaching role:
- Pay is dependent upon pay scale but will be between £110 - £170 per day
- Full time Science teaching position: starting September 2019
- 1 and a half terms teaching in the first instance
- Primarily teaching KS4 Science with additional general cover where required
- Highly regarded secondary school in Barnsley
The school is located in Barnsley easily accessible off the M1. The school boasts great facilities and offers a wide variety of CPD training courses throughout the academic year.
