Science Teacher

We are keen to appoint an imaginative and dynamic teacher of Science for KS3 and KS4 to cover a medium length post within a good Science department. We would be delighted to hear from experienced, recently qualified or newly trained science teachers with a real enthusiasm for Science. 

Our school has been previously rated by Ofsted as  'outstanding' with encouraging results across core subjects form summer 2017. Attainment levels for Science taken from summer 2017 indicate that a significant amount of young adults are achieving A-C grades at GCSE.  

Our school seeks a science teacher who can genuinely enthuse and inspire young people and most importantly promote a positive environment and relationship with students.

As a Science Teacher you are expected to:

• have an expertise in science (could be biology, chemistry or physics)
• act as a tutor- provide a safe, supportive and motivating environment
• provide effective feedback to students that will enable them to set clear individual targets

Please note this role is to start January 2020 and may continue for up to 2 terms or more.

This is initially a temporary post with a possibility of going permanent for the right teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
