Science Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher for a secondary school in the BD5 area of Bradford. This opportunity will allow for the succesful candidate to work in an 'Outstanding' school that fosters an inclusive community for all.  You will work alongside staff in the department to facilitate high quality learning and the closing of educational gaops for disadvantaged students. You will be responsible for creating a challenging and stimulating environment where pupils are inspired to take responsibility for their education.

The successful candidate must:

-          Relevant degree with QTS

-          Experience working with children or young people

-          Confident teaching core science subjects

-          Have or be willing and able to apply for a DBS certificate on the Update Service

The successful candidate will be expected to:

-          Be enthusiastic in your approach to delivering lessons to pupils across different ages and abilities

-          Inspire learning with creative lesson plans and delivery

-          Encourage and pupils to achieve to the best of their ability

-          Work closely with staff within the department to facilitate learning and development

-          Demonstrate a passion for education and commitment to the role

-           Pro-actively demonstrating the school’s values amongst pupils and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
