Join an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school with a commitment to staff development in the new academic year. This opportunity is ideal for any those looking to secure a permanent position in the future.

This exciting opportunity has arisen due to an internal restructure within the department and the Headteacher requires a dynamic Science Teacher to join their close-knit staff team. Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified teachers as relevant support will be provided to the successful Science teacher.

-          Science Teacher – September 2020.

-          Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Bury Secondary school.

-          Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent within the UK.

-          Teaching Science up to KS4 level.

-          Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490 per annum.

Our client is a beacon within the local community for staff and pupils alike and currently serves just over 700 pupils, aged 11-16. The incoming candidate will join a team of highly experienced staff members and will be required to take on full departmental responsibilities for planning and marking, and will be fully supported by the Head of Science throughout the post.

Located at the heart of Bury, the school can be accessed via the M66. For those on public transport, there are a number of routes from neighbouring areas Bolton, Manchester, Preston and Rochdale.
