A high performing school in the Macclesfield area is seeking to appoint a Science teacher with a proven track record of pupil progress to join their devoted team of Science staff from January 2021. Offering KS3 pupils 8 hours per fortnight of lesson time, increasing to 4 hours per science per fortnight at KS4, this is an opportunity to truly go above and beyond basic Science teaching to fully extend the academic potential of your pupils.

At KS3, you will be covering a curriculum that puts a focus on developing pupil learning strategies through practical investigations and analysis of findings. Pupils are taught science as three distinct subjects and at KS4 follow the AQA syllabus, either as Dual Award or Separate Sciences. With weekly support clinics and regular revision classes, you will be able to ensure all pupils are able to reach their full potential.
