Graduate Teaching Assistant
Our welcoming and inclusive client secondary schools in South Manchester are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their SEN teams. This is an excellent opportunity for any graduates who are considering a career in education and want to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons across a range of subjects. If graduates have a specific specialism they will be mainly supporting in that department.
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions and small group support.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
- Provide pastoral support and help maintain a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are advantageous).
- A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
