Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school close to Bodmin and are looking for a Science specialist Teacher to work full time Monday – Friday on a long term basis with the chance of a permanent contract.

The role is working with children aged 5 – 16 who require additional support. The ideal Teacher will have previous Science Teaching experience as well as experience of working with children with SEN such as challenging behaviour, Autism and PMLD.

Your roll will be to plan, prepare, deliver and mark each lesson. You will be working with other professionals within the school including Teachers and Teaching Assistant and ensuring you are working coherently to help the children meet both personal and educational targets. You will have 1:1 or 2:1 support for each pupil within the classroom and you will be required to support them with individual lesson plans and needs.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

-Science subject specialism

-KS3 experience

-Driving Licence

-QTS

-Strong Behaviour Management

It is also desirable if you have SEN experience, but this is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
