Science Teacher – Wallasey – September Start

Location: Wallasey, Merseyside
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (potential for permanent placement)
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and fully qualified Science Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Wallasey for the new academic year starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-resourced Science department in a forward-thinking school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Science across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
  • Uphold the school's ethos and high expectations of behaviour and achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5 – Essential
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • Ability to deliver high-quality lessons and inspire students
  • Excellent classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
