Teaching Personnel is currently looking to bring on a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher to take on a long-term vacancy at one of our partnership Secondary Schools in the Tonypandy area. This is a long-term position covering a maternity beginning ASAP and running until December at the minimum. This position will be paying in line with the Welsh Government framework totaling a daily rate of minimum £166.
Science Teacher Requirements:
- Must hold QTS
- Have classroom-based experience within a secondary setting
- Able to provide 2 school-based references (if applicable)
- Have an in-depth knowledge on General Science
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an NQT or FQT looking for their next new challenge. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly and energetic Science department at the school, who are actively on the lookout for someone who has a good understanding of the national curriculum.
Science Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and monitor schemes of work
- Use a wide range of resources and activities to provide students with engaging and interesting Science lessons to both KS3 and KS4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
