Role: Science Teacher

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea

Start: Monday 30th October 2023

Contract: Full time, temporary (with the option to secure a permanent role)

Salary: MPR/UPR

The role: Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a co-educational 11-18 school and sixth form, located in Shoreham-by-Sea, graded ‘OUTSTANDING’ during Ofsted’s most recent visit.  The school are seeking a teacher of science, to join them on a full time, temporary basis, from Monday 30th October 2023, until the Christmas break.  Although initially a temporary post, the school are seeking a permanent member of staff to join the department from January 2024, so if successful during the autumn term, there is opportunity to become a permanent member of the department.

The timetable for this role would be teaching KS3 and KS4, however, if you are an educator who can teach at A Level, it would be advantageous.  This role will require a specialist, as full planning and marking responsibilities will be undertaken, however the school do encourage early career teachers (ECT’s), as well as more experienced teachers to apply for the post.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
