Job description

A fantastic mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, ensuring high-quality education for students and inspiring a love of learning in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Support the academic and personal development of all learners

  • Work collaboratively with the Science department to maintain high teaching standards

  • Contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified Science Teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Have a passion for Science and for inspiring young minds

  • Be available to start from September 2025
