Science Teacher – Pickering
Full-Time | September Start | Competitive Pay | Long-Term Opportunity

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Pickering area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious department, delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

  • Full-time Science Teacher

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential

  • Marking and assessment in line with the national curriculum

  • Participating in departmental and whole-school CPD

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Specialism in Science, with confidence teaching up to GCSE level

  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive attitude

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • An enthusiastic and engaging teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
