Job role: Science Teacher
Start date: January 2024
End date: July 2024 (potential to extend)
Contract: Full-time, Monday - Friday

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join us in a secondary school in Leyland. We need a passionate teacher with exceptional subject knowledge to join us in January, to complete the remainder of the academic year.
Our school motto is’ “Endeavour for excellence,” as we believe that through sustained effort and hard work all individuals can fulfil their potential and achieve their own level of excellence. Everyday all members of staff and pupils support one another in ensuring our school is a safe, positive learning environment where everyone can flourish.
The successful candidate will:
- Have specialist subject knowledge.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management.
- Plan and supervise Science lessons for KS3- KS4.
- Be able to work independently, as well as a strong team player able to build relationships with both students and staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A strong and friendly manner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
