Science Teacher – Barnet, North West London

Would you like to work for a "GOOD” trust in Barnet, North West London?

Have you got experience teaching science across KS3, and possibly KS4 as well?

Do you want to ease yourself in, with no planning responsibilities to start off with?

If this sounds like you, look no further! We are currently looking for experienced science teachers to join a friendly school in Barnet, North West London. The ability to teach all three science subjects at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) is vital for the role. You would be working as a Maths Teacher in Lewisham, Southeast London which is regarded as a "Good" school.

About the school:

• Graded "Good" by Ofsted

• Welcoming and friendly atmosphere throughout

• Supportive and hands-on HOD and SLT

• Located in Barnet

• Average sized secondary school

• On-Site parking

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on, enriching science lessons for KS3 students

• Use the school's behaviour management policy effectively

• Marking and assessment of the children's work to maximise student progress

• Liaising with parents and colleagues in regard to student wellbeing and achievement

• Incite a love for learning and science in the classes you teach

• Assist in overseeing supply teachers and cover staff as and when required

Requirements:

  • QTS certificate
  • Experience teaching science up to KS3 and KS4.
  • Degree in science or similar subject
