Science Secondary Teacher – Huyton – February 2020

Are you a specialist Science teacher looking for full time work starting in February until summer 2020? Working in an “a safe and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their potential”.

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a Specialist Secondary school in the Huyton area who are seeking a Science teacher on a long term basis to cover a Maternity. The specialist school based in Huyton is specifically for pupils having difficulty in mainstream school or have been transferred from pupil referral units.

The timetable will consist of mainly Year 10 (3 classes) and year 11 (3 classes) and two afternoons of fun, practical science to our KS3 nurture classes. All classes consist of no more than 8 students and you will be assisted by a TA in every lesson.

The role:

-              KS3 & KS4 Science teacher full time position

-              Supportive department with excellent facilities

-              Salary negotiable (dependant on experience) GBP22,023 - GBP36,496

-              School situated in The Huyton area

-              The school is easy accessible from via public transport.

- PGCE/QTS
