Job description

Science Teacher – Folkestone

Location: Folkestone, Kent
Salary: £32,000 – £51,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting a dedicated Science Teacher for a forward-thinking secondary school in Folkestone. The successful candidate will join a dynamic department focused on delivering high-quality Science education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Plan creative and engaging lessons

  • Monitor and support pupil progress

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Previous experience teaching Science

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
