SCIENCE TECAHER - SEPTEMBER 2023 START

Teaching Personnel are working with numerous secondary schools across the Derbyshire location who are looking for maths teachers to join them for September. With a wide range of schools available, this is the best time to join Teaching Personnel! 

It is key that the incoming Science Teacher has the ability to deliver engaging and enthusiastic science lessons to students in a collaborative style and has excellent behaviour management skills in order to maintain excellent class control whilst motivating pupils to push beyond their expected grades. The ideal candidate will have QTS in Mathematics and will be confident within a classroom setting. They will also possess the ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships and will be able to use this to their advantage when motivating students within the subject.

The successful teacher will take sole responsibility of a complete teaching timetable which will consist of full planning and marking responsibilities.

What are your responsibilities:

  • To make a significant contribution to the school's Science department
  • Vast knowledge and understanding of the Maths curriculum 
  • Be a positive role model
  • Support the department by delivering lessons to a high standard
  • To ensure that all safeguarding responsibilities are met, in line with school safeguarding policy
  • Demonstrating a passion for education
  • Keeping a record of behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
