Qualified Science Teacher – Coventry


Full-Time | KS3 & KS4 | Paid to Scale | OFSTED "Good" Secondary School
Start Date: September 2025  or May Half Term Start Available

Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher (QTS) looking for your next role in a "Good" Coventry based mainstream secondary school? Whether you're available to start from May half term or looking ahead to a September 2025 start, we want to hear from you!

Our agency is proud to be working in partnership with a high-achieving, supportive secondary school near Coventry City Centre. The school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong support structure and a collaborative staff environment.

 

Important details:

Hours: Full Time 8:30-15:30 (Mon-Fri, term time only)

Pay: To Scale (MPS/UPS)

Teaching KS3/KS4 Science

Start Date: Sept 2025 or May HT

The school are seeking a dedicated individual who would be open to a permanent position.

 

The ideal candidate will:

- Hold a UK QTS

- Be experienced teaching Science in a UK secondary school

- Be confident with planning and marking responsibility

- Have a strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for science

- Have confident behaviour management techniques and a strong classroom presence

- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the positive welfare of all students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
