Do you have a love for Science? Eager to inspire students?

This Coventry based school is looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher eager to encourage students to learn. From September 2023 this academy will be taking on a successful candidate to play an important role in education.

Position: Science teacher
Location: Coventry
Start Date: September 2023
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £140 - £220 daily

Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • A willingness to actively participate in the wider school community.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students (Key Stage 3 and 4)
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
  • Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
