Head of Science - Bromley
The PWR team are seeking an exceptional and inspirational Head of Science to lead a flourishing department at a reputable secondary school in the borough of Bromley. This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the chance to shape the future of science education within a supportive and ambitious school environment that values academic excellence and practical application.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a proven track record of raising attainment in Science, and the ability to motivate and mentor a team of dedicated science educators. Responsibilities will include curriculum development, departmental management, overseeing student progress across all key stages, and fostering a stimulating and investigative approach to learning Science. Experience with GCSE and A-Level examination boards is crucial.
We are looking for a visionary leader who can drive innovation and ensure that Science remains a vibrant and engaging subject for all students. This position offers a significant Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate. This role is on the Outer London pay scale.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
