Are you looking for an exciting new adventure in education at one of Bristol’s leading schools! This school in central Bristol strives for excellence in every aspect of student life. Due to the common success the school brings, this school is on the lookout for a dynamic Teacher to join their science department!

As a Science Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic science lessons to students across KS3-KS5.
  • Create a stimulating and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and understanding.
  • Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest scientific research, teaching methodologies, and curriculum developments.
  • You may also feel the need to participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and field trips, to further enrich the learning experience for students.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • QTS status in Secondary Education Science
  • Experience teaching either Biology, Chemistry and / or Physics to KS3 and KS4
  • Dedicated to raising attainment levels in science.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
