Job description

Science Teacher Wanted – Bridgwater

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced secondary school in Bridgwater. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering the chance to make a real difference in a vibrant science department.

Location: Bridgwater
Role: Science Teacher (KS3–KS4, any specialism considered)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term with the potential to become permanent

The successful candidate will:
✔ Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced unqualified teacher with strong subject knowledge
✔ Confidently deliver engaging and inspiring science lessons across the curriculum
✔ Support students of mixed abilities, including those with SEN
✔ Play an active role in departmental planning and assessment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
