Job Type: Flexible Supply – Full-time, Part-time, and Ad Hoc roles available

Are you a passionate and adaptable Science teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School Science Teachers to support our partner schools in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school environments, ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their classroom practice.
The Role:
-
Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4
-
Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
-
Adapt quickly to new school settings and connect effectively with pupils
-
Provide continuity of learning during the absence of the regular teacher
-
Opportunities for regular work, including block bookings and short/long-term placements
✅ About You:
-
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
-
Confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
-
Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their progress
-
Child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
