Location: Bournemouth
Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2024
Contract: Full-Time (Long-Term Supply with Permanent Potential)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Paid Weekly via PAYE)

Are you a passionate Science Teacher, either experienced or newly qualified, ready to inspire the next generation of learners? About the Role

You’ll be delivering engaging, interactive Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with flexibility to teach your specialist subject—Biology, Chemistry, or Physics—while contributing to a collaborative and well-resourced faculty. You’ll be encouraged to bring science to life through practical experiments, real-world applications, and critical thinking challenges.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training (ECTs welcome).

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science and the enthusiasm to motivate young learners.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular science activities.

  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
