Join a high achieving Science department from January 2021.
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a small mixed comprehensive secondary school in the Bolton LEA to support recruitment next academic year. Due to a departmental restructure, our partner secondary school require a Science teacher to join their faculty from January 2021. This position is open and will result in a permanent contract for the successful Science teacher.
- Full-time Science teaching position, January 2021 start date
- Teaching across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four
- Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking
- Supportive department with a permanent position available from Easter 2021
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum)
This position is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Science teachers, specialising in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The relevant support will be provided for the successful Science teacher.
In Ofsted inspections, the school have achieved a ‘Good’ grading and are consistently praised for the support provided from Senior Leaders across the school. There are currently slightly over 500 pupils on roll which facilitates smaller class sizes, creating more inclusive learning environments.
The small mixed comprehensive secondary school is situated near to Bolton town centre, with great access to public transportation links and the M61 motorway. The school can be reached via public transportation links from central Manchester, Chorley and Rossendale areas with ease.
