Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary Academy in Bolton, aiding them in recruiting a new Science Teacher for September 2019.

• Full-time role starting in September 2019
• Must hold specific subject qualifications in Science
• Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE
• Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
• Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided
• Work with pupils who display challenging behaviour

Working as a Science Teacher in our client Academy, responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and evaluating class work and reporting back to Senior Teachers in order to take appropriate action to ensure pupils meet their aims and objectives
• Planning, preparing and delivering Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning
• Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Science
• Guiding pupils with challenging behaviour and implementing strategies to help manage this behaviour
• Promoting positive behaviour management skills amongst all pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies

Our client Secondary Academy is looking for a Science teacher who can aid pupils' attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills. Our client Academy does provide excellent behavioural support for their staff however; any experience with behaviour management training, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties will be highly valued.

Our client academy is located in Bolton and can be accessed via the M61 and A676 from surrounding areas such as Bury and Salford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bury, Salford and central Manchester.
