Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Science teacher on behalf of our client school located in Bolton.

Due to a gap within their Science department, this school wish to appoint a Science teacher on a 2 term basis until the end of the academic year from January 2018.

  • Full time Science teaching position from January 2018
  • 2 terms leading a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE
  • Well facilitated Science department who achieve excellent examination results well above the national average
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience

Due to a member of staff gaining promotion within school, this Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school hope to appoint a temporary Science teacher ahead of the New Year. The incoming Science teacher will be required to teach Science to pupils ranging in ability to KS3 and also GCSE level. The school can accommodate a favourable timetable around your specialism in Science at GCSE level, however you will be required to teach KS3 physics, Chemistry and Biology.

This is a larger than average sized school located within the Bolton Council on the border of Salford. The school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Wigan, Leigh, Chorley, St Helens and Warrington. The school is just a 10 minute drive from the East Lancashire road and offers free parking to all staff. The proportion of those believed to be entitled to a free school meal is less than that seen nationally and the majority of students are of White British heritage. The proportion of those with special educational needs and/or disabilities is in line with the national average.
