SCIENCE INTERVENTION - RCT
Do you have the skills to support and give extra curricular guidance to those pupils who are needing assistance with the Science curriculum?
Do you have an extensive knowledge of the Science curriculum from previous Teaching roles?
Are you a recent Science Graduate looking to gain experience before starting your PGCE?
We currently have a role that is flexible and currently for 2 days per week in a Secondary School within the Rhondda Cynon Taff LEA.
If you have the ability to make a difference to pupils that need some extra time and encouragement within the specialism of Science then we are currently have a role that will enable you to aid and assist pupils in small classrooms and also 1:1 settings.
The successful Science Intervention Specialist will be asked to use your vast knowledge of general Science to develop pupils and unlock their potential by using original and creative teaching methods. The school have specified the need for someone who is able to work with the C/D borderline pupils in order to support them through their GCSE preparation. The ability to be able to break down your sessions for pupils that may need extra support is an essential skill as the intervention is often to aid those pupils with additional learning and supportive needs.
