Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across South Yorkshire. We are working closely with a number of partner schools who require skilled support staff to assist teachers, raise attainment, and provide targeted intervention.
This is an excellent opportunity for confident and proactive Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting young people in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teaching and learning across a range of subject areas
-
Deliver small group interventions and targeted academic support
-
Provide 1:1 support for students with additional needs (including SEN)
-
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
-
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies
-
Monitor and report on student progress
Some roles may include leading lessons in the absence of a teacher or covering planned sessions under guidance.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
-
Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Have experience working within a secondary school setting
-
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
-
Are confident supporting students with a range of needs, including SEN
-
Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
