Science Graduate Teaching position
Are you a confident Science specialist with a degree in either Physics, Chemistry or Biology? Are you looking to further your skills and knowledge and embark upon a teaching career? Perhaps you are hoping to pass on your love of Science and inspire the next generation?
A secondary school in the Gosport area are currently seeking a unqualified Teacher of Science to join their teaching staff under the guidance of the department to take on a role with full teaching responsibilities. The schools department in experienced and well established and can offer the support and direction required to help you immerse yourself into the school setting and further your career in education.
The school are keen to meet a Science Graduate who has a great academic record including at least a 2.1 in their degree. The successful candidate will need to be able to utilise their knowledge to teach within the curriculum with the academy teaching standards. Previous teaching experience or education work experience is high advantageous, and knowledge of the UK Curriculum preferable.
The successful Science Teaching Assistant will possess the personality and work-ethic that sees them establish themselves as a role model to students. For this graduate Science Tutor position, previous experience supporting students academically or in more informal settings is highly advantageous.

You will be provided with training, support, and the necessary tools you would need in rider to succeed and to make a positive difference within the department and the pupils learning. The newly appointed Head Teacher is actively seeking graduates who are looking to train to teach with the option of enrolling on teacher training at a later date.
