Science ECT – Tameside
If you’re an Early Career Teacher with a passion for Science, and you’re looking for your first teaching post within a school that genuinely values professional growth, this opportunity is for you.
A secondary school in Tameside is seeking a Science ECT to join them in September. The school boasts a strong Science department with modern lab facilities and a curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and encourage practical, enquiry-based learning.
You’ll be welcomed into a department with a history of supporting early career teachers successfully through their induction period. You’ll have regular support from a subject mentor, reduced timetable in your first term, and access to regular CPD.
You will teach KS3 Science and your subject specialism at KS4. Whether your passion lies in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, your enthusiasm will be welcomed and nurtured.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
