Teaching Personnel are looking for Tutors to deliver numeracy sessions face to face at a school in Tenbury Wells WR15, for a mix of year 2- 5 students, 3 children per group. This is part of the National Tutoring Programme (NTP), to help students who have fallen behind due to the pandemic.

We are looking for a Tutor to fill the time slots allocated below and must be able to both sessions for the next 8 weeks:

  • Tuesday 11am – 4pm
  • Thursday 1pm – 4pm

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

  • NTP Ready (but not essential as Teaching Personnel can assist in this)
  • PGCE with QTS
  • A tutor with experience teaching Numeracy
  • Planning and Prepping experience
  • Confident to deliver excellent education Face to Face
  • Able to create and implement engaging, innovative lessons for children
  • Competent at providing detailed feedback reports through LEAP to monitor progress, behaviour and attendance

Don’t worry if you haven’t yet had any training on how to be a successful tutor. Teaching Personnel will give the full training which includes;

  • 3 FREE and mandatory Tuition CPD courses via BPN
  • Level 2 Safeguarding training course
  • A Technology induction – LEAP, Bramble and Ed Place

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
