School Cover Supervisor

Secondary School Cover Supervisor- Wigan

Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our partner schools to source the support of suitable individuals to provide cover for lessons on a daily basis. Due to the increased demand for cover at this time of the year, there is work available immediately on both a full and part time basis. There is also the possibility of a fixed term/permanent contract being available at the end of the academic year;

• Regular work available at a high performing school based centrally in Wigan
• The opportunity to work in other schools across Wigan, Leigh and Warrington
• Earn up to £300 a week dependant upon experience
• Regular training and development opportunities through an exclusive partnership with two training schools in Salford and Liverpool.

Our partner school require Cover Supervisors to work within the school on a daily basis. The role requires you to be the first port of call for absence and sickness in school, covering lessons for teachers and other staff members including senior leaders with a teaching timetable. You may be required to cover lessons across the subject range, so flexibility and confidence to cover lessons outside your comfort zone is important. Previous experience of working with 11-16 year olds is advantageous within this role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
