Part-Time School Cleaner

Location: Blackpool

Hours: Part-time, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join a supportive educational setting in Blackpool. This part-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £14 and the opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain designated areas within the school, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and staff rooms.
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Empty bins and remove waste in a timely manner.
• Support the school in ensuring a clean and hygienic environment at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices and cleaning standards.
• Flexibility in working hours, with the ability to adjust to different shift times.
• A friendly and approachable attitude, with a focus on maintaining a positive environment for students and staff.

Additional Information:

• All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, and, if applicable, Overseas Police Clearances, in line with our stringent safeguarding policy. You must have a child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
