Job description

Job Vacancy: School Cook – Full Time (Term Time Only)

Location: Bristol
Pay: £90 to £110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Cook to join our team and play a vital role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking daily meals for students in line with school menus and dietary requirements.

  • Ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations and health and safety standards.

  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

  • Managing stock and kitchen supplies effectively.

  • Working as part of a team to support a positive mealtime experience for pupils.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.

  • Previous experience working as a chef or cook, ideally in a school or similar setting.

  • A Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential).

  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently.

  • Passion for healthy cooking and working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
