School Administrator
Full Time (32.5 hrs)
Barry, Vale of Glamorgan
Starting September 2024; 1-year initial placement.
A large and diverse school in Barry are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator to join them in the new academic year (September 2024).
The school would like to take on a full-time administrator to support the current admin and reception teams and support with the day-to-day running of the school. Your role will be varied, to include:
- Welcoming in visitors, parents, staff and students to the school
- Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate person
- Utilising SIMS to complete attendance-related duties
- Managing postal/email enquiries
- Monitoring school supplies and ensuring that records and resources are up to date and correct
- Using reprographic equipment where required to generate resources
Requirements:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Organised and efficient with a strong attention to detail
- Kind and caring personality
- Good ICT knowledge and skills
- Experience using SIMS Software (highly desirable)
- Minimum 5 A*-C GCSEs
**An Enhanced Child Only DBS (with Update Service) and EWC registration will be required for this position, and support can be provided with this if needed. **

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
