Retired Teachers available for Secondary School Supply

We are looking for all retired/retiring Secondary School Teachers who are looking to continue to help their local community by helping us to cover staff absence in local schools across Hampshire and Dorset. The further you are able to travel the more work we will be able to offer you!

We are able to offer subject specialist cover as well as general cover across the curriculum dependant on what you are looking for, and we are happy to offer you as much or as little work as you would like to undertake, for one day a month to full time daily cover!

Teaching Personnel recognise that for the majority of teacher retiring from the profession they find that the majority of teachers prefer to move out of Teaching at their own pace, the benefits of supply teaching are the flexibility the competitive pay and the lack of additional planning and marking which add to the strain of an already full time job.

Teaching Personnel work with the majority of Secondary Schools in the area on a daily basis aiding schools with high quality staff to fill absences due to school trips, illness and PPA and we need your help to continue this!

We are looking for experienced teachers for short notice bookings, to help fill course cover and sickness. Short term placements of up to a week for planned absence. Tuition and intervention with small groups of students who are not meeting the correct level of attainment and need that extra push to achieve.

If this is something you would be interested in finding out more information about apply for this role and Jim from the Hampshire Secondary team will be in touch to discuss our work further!
