Job description

Assisting my Principal I am looking for a NQT or Teacher of Design Technology specialising in Resistant materials required to join our School from September on a permanent full time basis. Part time staff on a job share will be considered also.

Teaching Personnel are working with one of our work force partner schools based in Bradford, to recruit a resistant materials teacher who is able to offer the school commitment on a permanent basis and join them from September onwards undertaking the full responsibility of a secondary school teacher including a tutor group, planning, marking and supporting the department. This will also include CPD courses and departmental and full staff meetings.

The school are particularly interested in hearing from ambitious NQTs who are interested in stepping up in years to come to manage and lead the department in the future. The school have an excellent history of mentoring NQTs to be outstanding teachers, rapidly upskilling with the mixture of close support and CPD provided within the school. The school would prefer a teacher who can join them on a permanent basis however are open to considering a one year fixed term contract for this position. 

We are looking for an ambitious and driven teacher who is going to be able to commit to the school for the duration of the employment. Someone who can bring more to the wider community of the school and get involved in the school ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
