A Specialist Setting located in Oldham are currently looking to recruit Residential Workers for an immediate start. This role will involve working within a Secondary School Setting with pupils who have SEMH needs. Due to the nature of the needs of the young people who attend the Setting the Head Teacher has founded that candidates from a residential backgrounds tend to excel in the Setting. Please be aware that sleep ins will not be required as a part of this role and hours will involve working 8.30 - 4.00pm.
The setting is an outstanding Multi Academy trust which operates across 4 sites 3 of which are based in Oldham and this particular site is based in Failsworth. Sites cater for individuals between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
The successful applicant will have:
- Access to continuous CPD such as Team Teach (provided through Teaching Personnel)
- An extremely supportive staff team
- Weekly pay and the opportunity to earn up to 300 pound per week (dependent on experience)
