Religious studies teaching role – Fulham – October 2019 start – Maternity cover.

RE teaching role at ‘Good’ school in the Fulham / Hammersmith area working from October half term 2019 through to Summer 2020 initially – permanent role available from September 2020.

Rate: GBP150 - GBP215 per day.

Teaching Personnel’s client secondary school situated in the Fulham / Hammersmith (South West London) is looking to recruit a Religious Education teacher to join them starting in October half term 2019. The successfully appointed Religious Education teacher is required on a full time basis for the remainder of the academic year fulfilling a pending maternity leave.

The Head of RE advised:

“We are looking for a Religious Education teacher to join our Humanities department in October. We require the successful RE teacher to teach up to GCSE level across the ability range including KS3 as it is included in the curriculum from year 7. We are looking for a RE teacher that is available for the whole duration of the spring and summer term from Monday 28th October  to Friday 17th July. There is the option to move onto a school based contract following the Summer break.”

Highlights of this Religious Studies position:

  • Pay will be in line with teacher’s payscale: MPS1 – UPS3 (GBP24373 - GBP40490) on a pro rata basis (plus London weighting).
  • Applications accepted from teachers of any experience level; NQT to more experienced
  • Full time RE teacher required to fulfil this maternity leave
  • Teach at this well regarded, South West London based secondary school in Fulham / Hammersmith area.

The school has a very good reputation in the South West London area and is located near district line. The successful RE teacher is expected to echo the school’s values of honesty, integrity and hard work, ensuring students are engaged with their learning. Innovative and engaging lessons are therefore encouraged and expected at this secondary school to ensure all students are learning throughout their journey.

The school is situated in the Fulham / Hammersmith area close to the district line networks.
