Job description

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and promote curiosity, respect and understanding across a diverse range of beliefs and cultures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking and reflection. The ideal applicant will have strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to planning and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Be committed to inspiring a love of learning and respect for diversity
