Religious Education Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Religious Studies Teacher for a position starting immediately, this is a full time teaching role on a long term supply basis.

This role may also involve teaching some Ethics, Philosophy, Geography and History to effectively contribute to the department, but the primary focus is on Religious Studies.

The school was rated 'Good' in its last Ofsted inspection and is over subscribed due to a very positive local reputation.
The school are seeking to appoint an experienced subject specialist, but have instructed us to accept applications from outstanding and committed NQTs. A specialism in one of the Humanities is required and experience of teaching RE, History and Geography is desirable.

Initially, this is a temporary position until Summer 2018 with a view to extending this for the right candidate.

This position is full time with full teaching responsibility so you must be confident in your ability to plan engaging lessons. You will also be responsible for your own marking and assessments, so you will need to demonstrate your ability to do so by way of interview.
