Teaching Personnel have an exciting professional opportunity for a teacher of Religious Education to join a secondary school located in Bourne. The successful teacher will be required on a full time basis from January and will take responsibility of teaching KS3 and GCSE Religious Education. This is an excellent opportunity for a well qualified and committed teacher of RE to join a supportive and established Humanities department.

The successful Religious Education teacher will take responsibility of delivering KS3 and GCSE lessons across a range of age groups and abilities. Full teaching responsibilities will be required including planning, marking and assessing work accordingly. We are looking for a teacher of Religious Education who is capable of inspiring and engaging all students, regardless of their background and learning ability. The successful Religious Education teacher will have high expectations for teaching and learning and will have a genuine desire to make a difference to student achievement.

The Role:

  • Teaching a full timetable of RE to GCSE level
  • 6 periods of History and PSHE a week to KS3
