The role…

As a Teaching Assistant in one of our client Primary Schools in Retford, you will have a varied and rewarding job role. This can include working with small groups within lessons to further support their learning, taking small groups and individual pupils out of the classroom to concentrate on specific areas and supporting SEN pupils on a one to one basis. You will take direction from the teacher well and be able to work on your own initiative when working within a group. You will have a good knowledge of working with children and feel confident in supporting their learning.

Qualifications and experience…

You must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or higher and have worked within a primary school setting previously through either voluntary or paid work. You must be confident in supporting maths and English to a high level.
