Reception Teaching Assistant

The Role:
The school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. You will play a key role in supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality lessons and activities.
- Support children’s learning and development, both individually and in small groups.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to observations and assessments of pupils’ progress.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to promote positive outcomes for children.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years setting.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification) are desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
