Full Time Reception (EYFS) Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Darwen, Lancashire.
A new full time Teaching Assistant vacancy within the EYFS department has become available. We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic about making a difference, helping children in their first steps of education.
Rate of pay: £11.85/hour
Start date: 8th January 2024

The school:
A local school within the Darwen area are looking for someone who is passionate about having an influence on children’s learning and development. The school succeeds on its nurturing environment, helping to meet the needs of every individual child. This is a one form entry Primary School with a lovely outdoor area alongside providing excellent resources.
The role:
Within this role you will be expected to assist and work closely with the Reception Teacher and other staff members in supporting the reception classroom, ensuring the planning and assessments are completed. To work as part of the Early Years team, maintaining strong communication and aiding smooth transitions for the children. Its important that you form positive relationships with the children, creating and enabling a nurturing environment.
Working hours: 8:45-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
