Are you looking for a new career in teaching? Have you got recent experience working with primary school children? If you have a background in teaching or are looking to become a teacher, we would love to hear from you.

A two-form entry Primary School in Southampton are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Reception Teacher who is looking for a new career.The school are graded as 'Good' by Ofsted (2017) and are looking for a strong Reception Teacher who can help raise attainment in Reception for a permanent role. The school currently have 351 children on role with a small number of pupils with SEN in the class who have 1:1 support. The school is located in the heart of Southampton just a 7 minute drive away from the City centre with regular bus routes to the school.

The ideal Teacher must have previous experience in Reception and Phonics (Letters & Sounds), and must be able to differentiate for a full class of mixed ability pupils.

As a registered candidate with Teaching Personnel, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

  • Competitive pay rates of up to £150 per day (dependent on role and skillset)
  • CPD opportunities in partnership with Leeds Trinity University, NASEN, Ruth Miskin and the National Autistic Society
  • 'Recommend a friend' candidate referral bonus- £50
  • Flexible working patterns - hours to suit your lifestyle (minimum availability of 3 days)
