Job description

Are you a nurturing and creative educator with a passion for early years development? A friendly and well-resourced primary school in West Drayton is seeking a warm, committed, and inspiring Reception Teacher to join their EYFS team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the educational journey of young learners at a crucial stage in their development. You’ll be joining a supportive school with a strong leadership team and a commitment to providing high-quality early years education.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
  • Foster early reading, phonics, numeracy, and personal development skills
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records using observation-based assessment
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or EYTS
  • Has experience teaching in a Reception or EYFS setting
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy
  • Is warm, enthusiastic, and committed to every child’s progress
  • Has excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
