Reception Teacher – Full-Time (Hayes, Primary School)

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (for the right candidate)

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Hayes is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to nurture and inspire children at the very start of their learning journey.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning through play.

  • Track and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure every child achieves their potential.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching within the EYFS, particularly Reception.

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment methods.

  • Creativity, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach to teaching.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
